This groovy, New Orleans style cocktail bar, nestled at the top of the Transport Hotel at Federation Square, enjoys unrivalled views of Melbourne encompassing the Arts Precinct, Southbank and the Yarra River down to the MCG.

In the afternoons the expansive deck area draws a sophisticated crowd to watch the sunset over Melbourne and enjoy a skilfully assembled cocktail and wine list as well as a cultured supper menu.

Riverland is the original waterfront icon in Melbourne where you can escape the daily grind in our urban beer garden hideaway. This iconic venue is situated on the banks of the Yarra in the historic Federation Wharf vaults, just below Federation Square.

Our year round outdoor venue is the ideal spot for beers and bites while soaking up the sun in summer or basking under the heaters and warming up with one of our winter cocktails in the cooler months.

Riverland provides a relaxed warm atmosphere where people can enjoy the company of friends or grab a quick drink and BBQ sausage before the game.

The Slate roof top terrace and bar offer flexible spaces secretly nestled in the heart of the CBD. Suitable for post work socializing with cosy corners, communal tables and comfortable banquettes. Breezy and sunny in summer and heated in the winter, the roof top is a perfect outdoor aviary for any season.

Shannon Bennett's established fine dining, recently reinvigorated in the move to Level 55 of Melbourne's iconic Rialto. Vue de monde is testament to the belief that restaurant dining can be a wondrous, unforgettable experience and pays homage to classical fine dining in a sophisticated, modern context.

Originally housed in a quirky terrace building in Drummond Street Carlton, Vue de monde relocated in 2005 to the historic Normanby Chambers in Melbourne’s central business district. Evolving from a classical French style restaurant with a niche following, the move signified a shift in direction, with a focus on the theatrical and the dedication to dining as an experience. Vue de monde was lauded in its original location, including chef/owner Shannon Bennett being awarded the Australian Gourmet Traveller's inaugural 'Best New Talent' Award in 2003. It was the move to the new premises that Vue de monde achieved widespread critical acclaim and international recognition, including a then unprecedented 19/20 from The Age Good Food Guide.

In June 2011 Vue de monde relocated to the 55th floor of Melbourne’s iconic Rialto building, which challenged the notion that great dining cannot exist at great heights A pared back and sophisticated space, the design reflects on Australia’s history - it references Melbourne’s glory days during the gold rush and other cultural icons including the out back dunny! With the sweeping views across the city and beyond, plus a stunning neon conceptual art piece by seminal artist Joseph Kosuth - interpreting one of Charles Darwin’s sketches - forms the back drop for the restaurant. The ‘view’ is finally in Vue de monde.

Set discreetly within the grounds of the former Royal Mint lies The Mint Bar and Restaurant. Group Bookings

Catering from 12 to 160 guests sit down and up to 250 for cocktail events, we offer a range of options to suit any occasion. Groups of 12 and above are asked to order from one of our set menus, or we can tailor a sharing menu to suit your goup on the night . We are pretty flexible and if you want to get creative with our set menus then tell us what you’re after and we’ll do our best to make it happen.

Our private dining room, The Taxi Platform can seat up to 40 guests. Overlooking Fed Square and the Yarra River it’s an enclosed terrace with heating and cooling and a semi alfresco feel. All decked out in greenery and with blinds that can open on a sparkling Melbourne day, it makes for an impressive space to entertain clients, family or friends. Minimum spends and set menus apply in here.

The Embassy Room is available for group bookings of up to 46 pax. In this semi private dining area your guests get the quintessential view of the Yarra River which is flooded with the lights of the city and the Arts Centre spire by night.

Our Main Dining Room is a spectacular place to hold large scale dining events, weddings and stand-up cocktail style functions with that wow factor. We can accomodate your entertainment and AV requirements and will personally liaise with you to create the perfect event.

Located on the corner of Flinders street and St Kilda Rd, in Federation square, Transport Public Bar is located opposite Flinders St Station and one of the main Tram hubs on St Kilda Rd it is also a quick walk along the Yarra to the MCG, Melbourne Park and AMMI Park stadiums making this truly in the heart of Melbourne.

The public bar is a relaxed friendly place where all are welcome.
